This is a repository of auctions to help delight raise funds. delight has significant expenses related to family medical bills and the need to get out of an unsafe housing situation.

You can either post an auction here directly, or link to an auction hosted on another site or Dreamwidth user journal. 

When bidding, please reply to the previous bid so people know when they are being outbid! (Not everyone is tracking comments on auctions they want to follow.)

Please avail yourselves of the tags when you make a new entry! (Or make a tag if there isn't an appropriate one for your needs.) That way people can sort by types of things and auction ending dates.

Feel free to link this auction far and wide, but by request from delight , please do not put links on Facebook!

Two Auctions for Costuming Pieces

I'd like to offer two custom made costuming pieces for auction to help out, but I don't have a Dreamwidth account. How would I go about doing this?

One of two ways!

One, set up an auction on your own site offsite, and then send me a link and I'll post it here in the comm.

Two, send me an email (meloukhia at gmail) with the details, and I'll set up an auction in the comm.

(I also have DW invites, if anyone is wanting to participate AND would like to join the party here at DW. :))

ETA, with facepalm, also, THANK YOU for your donation. Which I may have to bid on myself. Ahem.

Thanks for the quick response! I primarily do steampunk costuming, so I was thinking of doing a custom waistcoat for gentlemen and a custom corset skirt for the ladies. Since the main steampunk fashion community and my own blog is over on Livejournal, I think I'll set up the main auction there and send you the link here when I'm done.

Off to set it up. :)

this is AMAZING, thank you for creating this comm. um, being maniacally specific and easily confused, can i post non-auctions? i'm offering 500 words of fic for every $5 donated, and hand-binding custom books for a starting donation of $15 over here.
